Dr. Vera Zdravkovich
Senior Advisor
Vera Zdravkovich is the Academic Vice President Emeritus at Prince George’s Community College. She served as the Principal Investigator (PI) and Director of CyberWatch from 2005-2009. Since 2009 she has been the National CyberWatch Center’s Senior Advisor. Dr. Zdravkovich has been the lead working with the National Security Agency to establish the National Centers for Academic Excellence in Information Assurance/Cyber Defense 2-Year (CAE2Y) program, which was initiated in 2009. Her involvement with the broader cybersecurity community includes her role as a Senior Advisor to CyberWatch West, a member of two different National Science Foundation National Visiting Committees, and serving on various national committees. Her academic background includes a baccalaureate in chemical engineering from the University of Belgrade and a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the George Washington University.
