Cybersecurity Education Doesn’t Always Take Place in the Classroom

This PowerPoint presentation, from a panel presented by Margaret Spivey, Stephen Shank, and Anthony Hanners, was given at the first annual Community College Cyber Summit, held from July 21st to 22nd, 2014. The panel discussed the development of a cybersecurity curriculum and career pathway at Hagerstown Community College focusing on secondary and postsecondary education, as well as on partnerships with business and industry. The results included new credit and non-credit courses as well as summer programs for students.
