Girls in IT: The Facts

This 82-page report, from the National Center for Women and Information Technology, looks at the lack of girls and women in information technology related education and the workforce. It aims to summarize the current research on this issue in order to give reader a better idea of “1) the current state of affairs for girls in computing, 2) the key barriers to increasing girlsåä’ participation in these fields, and 3) promising practices for addressing these barriers.” The report is broken into three sections and includes a number of engaging infographics.
