National Cybersecurity Student Association COVID-19 Perceptions Survey Webcast

The National Cybersecurity Student Association COVID-19 Perceptions Survey was designed to provide an understanding of how the current pandemic has impacted the college student experience, access to resources, persistence, and student support for remote learning. It was distributed to 5,766 students who have engaged in the Association’s programs. The survey window remained open for six weeks. The confidential survey was completed (either in whole or part) via SurveyMonkey by 53 respondents.

In this webcast, Blake Urbach presented the various findings and their implications for higher education institutions.

About the Presenter: Ms. Blake Urbach is the Principal Consultant of Preferred Program Evaluations, an independent consulting firm offering specialized experience in the evaluation of grant-funded projects. She collaborates with institutions of higher education, K-12 schools, and non-profits on the development and execution of program evaluations for the purpose of informing educational and social policy. Ms. Urbach has 18 years of experience in the evaluation of initiatives designed to increase STEM scholarship and persistence, as well as health and behavioral intervention projects that employ a holistic approach to personal and community development. She has evaluated projects funded by the National Science Foundation, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, U.S. Department of Agriculture, U.S. Department of Education, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and U.S. Department of Labor, in addition to state agencies and private foundations.
