SEED: Developing Instructional Laboratories for Computer SEcurity EDucation

The SEED project (Developing Instructional Laboratories for Computer SEcurity EDucation) aims to develop laboratory exercises to assist students in learning computer system security. These labs, for use in both undergraduate and graduate computing courses, are intended to help students in “(1) grasping security principles, concepts, and technologies, (2) applying security principles to design and implement security mechanisms, (3) analyzing and testing systems for security properties. (4) applying security principles to solve real-world problems.” Lab documents are available as open source documents under a GNU Free Documentation License.
